On Friday, October 19th, staff and leadership of six early learning centers came together for a day of professional development and self care. The centers — Magical Years Early Childhood Center, Warren Street Center for Children and Families, St. Andrews Child Care, Bay Ridge Day Nursery, Georgia L. McMurray BAT Kids Center, and Christ United Child Care — are all members of the Sunset Park Promise’s early learning network, the Early Childhood Working Group.
Activities for the day focused on the Ages and Stages Questionnaire and building learning goals, as well as some much-needed stress management and reduction workshops. Nearly 100 early learning staff participated in the day. Looking forward to our next shared PD!
